You do not have to do everything on your own. The choices you make are the ones you do on your own. In terms of studying, try getting friends or a few classmates to form a group study. The college provides students help in any subject. Therefore, if you do not understand the material, feel free to visit them. I prefer you to also visit your professor in office hours, to better understand the material.I hope this helps. - MJ
